This Privacy Policy explains what FeetRanker ("we", "us") collects when you use feetranker.com or any related app or service (the "Service"), how we use that information, and the choices you have. By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

1. Information We Collect

Information you give us

Account: email address, password (hashed), display name, username, date of birth, optional bio and links.
Content: photos, videos, captions, comments, ratings, votes, and tips.
Payments & payouts: billing details, last four digits of payment method, and payout account information. Full card numbers are handled by our PCI-compliant processor (Stripe) and never reach our servers.
Identity verification: when required to enable monetisation, government-issued ID and a selfie, processed by our identity-verification provider and retained only as required by law.
Support communications: messages you send to support, trust & safety, or DMCA addresses.

Information collected automatically

IP address, device type, browser, operating system, language, and approximate location (city/country level).
Pages visited, features used, referring URL, and timestamps.
Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 5).

2. How We Use Information

Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
Verify your age and identity, and enforce our 18+ policy.
Process tips, subscriptions, payouts, and refunds.
Personalise the feed, leaderboard, discovery, and notifications.
Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
Communicate with you about your account, security, and product updates.
Comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our Terms.

3. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process personal data on the bases of (a) contract performance (running the Service for you), (b) legitimate interests (security, fraud prevention, product improvement), (c) consent (optional analytics/marketing), and (d) legal obligation (tax, takedown requests, age verification).

4. Sharing

We share personal data only with:

Service providers who process data on our behalf under written agreements: hosting, storage, email delivery, analytics, payments (Stripe), identity verification, and customer support.
Other users as part of your public profile, posts, comments, ratings, and votes.
Legal & safety recipients when we believe disclosure is required to comply with law, lawful requests, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of FeetRanker, our users, or the public.
Successors in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to confidentiality and continued protection of your data.

We do not sell personal data and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use first-party cookies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and measure aggregate usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; some features (including staying signed in) will not work without them. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

6. Data Retention

Account and content data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records for 7 years), for fraud prevention, or to enforce our Terms.

7. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you;
port a copy of your data in a structured, machine-readable format;
object to or restrict certain processing, including direct marketing;
withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent;
lodge a complaint with your local data-protection authority.

Submit requests via Settings » Privacy or by emailing privacy@feetranker.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting.

8. Security

We use encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and continuous monitoring. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for using a strong, unique password and keeping your account credentials confidential.

9. Children

The Service is strictly 18+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us data, email trust@feetranker.com and we will delete it immediately.

10. International Transfers

We process data in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards to transfer data out of the EEA, UK, or Switzerland.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app notice at least seven days before they take effect.
